Avarcas
Avarcas are a traditional Spanish shoes, from the Mediterranean Island of Menorca.
They were used by the local as a comfortable and resistant shoe, handmade with leather and used car tires, which were materials easily available in the island.
The authentic Abarcas, or Avarcas on the island language, are still locally produced following the same tradition and materials specifications.
The original Avarcas receive the Guarantee of Identity and Origin Seal from the "Consel Insular de Menorca"
